BASS Registrations
BASS is legally entitled to receive charitable donations as a registered organization under the Societies Registration Act 1860 with registered No.162 of 1978 dated 16-12-1978. BASS also registered with the Indian Ministry of Home Affairs under the Foreign Contributions (Regulation) Act, 1976 with registered number 010190145 dated 14-8-1992 and also granted FCRA renewal certificate on 30th September 2022. BASS also registered and granted a valid 12 A and 80G Income Tax Exemption certificates. BASS annually submits financial and income tax documentation to the Government of India’s Ministry of Home Affairs. The organization’s Executive Body is regularly renewed, as per our organizational bylaws.
For the past four decades, BASS helps the most underprivileged members of society, but it does so with a difference. The organisation’s proven and sustainable approach focuses on the comprehensive development of its target communities.
A unique feature of this approach is the development of innovative and adaptable strategies based on continuous communication at the community level.
BASS facilitates communities to find solutions for themselves by giving all its members an active and participative role in return people in order to achieve the overall objective: making a community a viable unit for its own development.
